Three Moods of Summer

Composed during the summer of 1999, the original version for flute and piano of Three Moods of Summer was premiered on October 5, 1999 by Penelope Clarke, flute and Joy Fahrenbruck, piano in the Jean McNulty Recital Hall, William H. Buset Centre for Music and Visual Arts, Lakehead University, Thunder Bay, Ontario.

It was transcribed for flute and Strings by the composer in the summer of 2000. The flute and strings version was premiered in Thunder Bay, by Sarah Beth Hanson, flute, and TBSO members John Douglas and Madonna Douglas,violin; Catherine Jillings, viola; Marc Palmquist, cello; Joseph Phillips, double bass, conducted by Dinos Constantinides.
